There's a lot about "acceptance" in that no one prepared me for or even mentioned.

Like how it's not only or even mostly accepting that they died. It's accepting that you're still living. That the world is still here, doing its thing. That so many good and beautiful things still exist in a world your loved one is missing from forever.

Accepting the death is easy. Accepting the life after is harder.
