If you are looking for a YouTube channel for mixing, you can do a lot worse than Joe. Good advice is good advice, but the difference is in the delivery. And I love how Joe presents the topics on his channel.
@tgraph52 I like his presentation, plus I'm switching to Studio One. So it makes extra sense for me to follow him.
I'm sure you have your reasons to use that DAW. Have you looked at Reaper?
@tgraph52 I haven't. I'm a retiring Pro Tools user that is just so sick of all the little things they force you to do...like you can only use this interface...how it reacts to plug ins like reason and BFD. I am a certified computer tech. I just don't want to be one while I'm recording music. Ya know? 😊
I get it. I like Reaper and have been using it for maybe 15 years. The license costs $60 and lasts a long time, 2 full cycles of updates. The updates are regular and often and usually user driven. The support thru the forum is very good. The interface is very customizable.
I don't use probably 1/4 of the features. I just use it like an old recording/mixing console that I have configured as an old Neve desk.
@JohnRadcliff
I watched Joe's stuff years ago but haven't for quite a while
