Who says you don’t get exercise when you work in an office? Holiday weeks are nothing but chair races and walking to and from the break room for random events

It’s difficult to manage emotions when stressors come at us from so many directions. We can become overwhelmed even to the point of shutting down.

That’s when we need to find the joys. It’s important for our mind, body and soul to keep moving forward even when it’s seemingly the hardest to do.

Promise yourself today you’ll get up, find purpose and see the joys and fill yourself up. 💜

Saw The Invisible Man (1933) and then The Mummy (1932) last night (tbh I was dozing off during The Mummy because I was so tired so I need to watch again).

But I can honestly say The Invisible Man is one hell of a movie. Absolutely loved it.

Hey folks, just a reminder that people get GEDs for *many* reasons: having to work to help support families, school being an unhealthy environment for them, etc. People from poorer families or marginalized communities are more likely to have GEDs instead of high school diplomas. Having a GED means they cared enough to study on their own.

Hell, one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known has a GED.

When you use “GED” as an insult, you also hurt people who don’t deserve your scorn.

I have a serious peeve when people ask me for anything digitally related: Logos, layouts, business cards, ALL of the above and more. What I do in my professional life is not what I want to be doing in my private life on my own time. This is in reference to family/friends wanting freebies because of ideas they have. It’s not even a matter of whether or not to charge them, I just straight up don’t want to do it.

Can’t tell you how much I hate seeing regular novels in pdf format

I need to see all the Friday the 13th movies. Like ALL of them, even the modern ones. Then go to all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I’ve seen all the Halloween movies (the new trilogy was so bad I almost cried from the embarrassment)

Dude usually I have lazy Sundays, but this afternoon has been nothing but couch sprawling and chillin with the kiddo watching Studio Ghibli flicks. No complaints here!

Lately I’ve been curious about spiritual healing and more and what peoples’ personal experiences are with it (anything from burning sage to doing spells, etc).
I’m not religious or don’t practice anything, so this really is just out of pure curiosity rather than an inclination to participate. Any experiences with anything related to this? Idk if it’s because it’s Halloween season or what, but it’s fascinating and taboo to so many that I think it makes it more enticing lol

Put on the Boomerang app for the little one this morning and it made me wonder out of all the remakes that are happening these days, why haven’t we seen a Jonny Quest movie? That’d be rad 🤘

Spaghetti Night pt. 2 possibly in store for tonight 🍝

Tomorrow is Pumpkin Cheesecake Day. I’m saddened that I’ve never heard of pumpkin cheesecake, and even more sad that I don’t know where to look for it.

1) I can’t dance
2) I wear khaki pants
3) my middle name’s Lance
4) my grandma’s from France
