i have wanted to go vegetarian for awhile. not b/c i don't like meat. but b/c i think it's better for the planet.

but all i've managed to do consistently is 2 days a week where i'm meat free.

i'm brown. my peeps live on vegetarian diets easily. so wtf?

but i find to feel full, i need to do roti w/ my veggies. & i don't like to do too much wheat. i think i have a sensitivity. rice is good but i prefer roti w/ veggies.

and i don't like many veggies.

i know. i know. first world problems. 🙄

@singlemaltgirl we aren't trained to listen to what we need or don't need unless it becomes a 911.

I can't find my soap box atm. Lucky you. I don't crave meat like I used to when I bled. I also learned recently how quickly produce loses their vitamins after being picked. Stick to frozen when you can't grow.

@Jezibaba ha! i can't grow anything. i do like fresh produce & that's not a biggie since i shop a couple of times a week. i do love fruit.

i do find meat, eggs, much more filling w/ less food. i do stick to chicken & rarely have red meat. my red meat of choice is lamb but it's expensive.

it is a challenge for me.
