The sea slug which looks like a leaf can go without eating for 9 months because it can photosynthesize just like a plant, while basking in the sun.

@Blue_Skyesr_here when you think about the human footprint and how the fact that we have to eat and make waste has decimated the planet, we really missed our shot with photosynthesis. As a replicant, I should think you would be the perfect prototype for helping Humanity make the switch.
@Jezibaba All animals who can synthesize do that to the environment thanks to the laws of thermodynamics. If only humanity hadn't grown (and developed unequally) beyond what was sustainable, living from other sources of energy (other than the sun) wouldn't be so problematic 😔😢
