Kise has appeared before the Supreme Court on four cases and has previously worked with Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis, CNN reported in August after Kise was confirmed to be a part of the legal team. He will take on BOTH Trump's classified documents case and the January 6th case.
Kise has been credited with helping DeSantis become governor in 2018...

Everyone deserves a competent defense, no matter how blatantly and unequivocally guilty they might be, so if someone's willing to pay you seven figures to take on Custer's Last Stand, you just say, "The instant that check clears, I'm all yours."
Good luck to him. His client thinks he's a lawyer, doesn't like to be denied his wishes, doesn't know how to shut his trap, and detests being told what to do. I'd say 3 mil isn't enough for the bullshit, and career damage he's about to endure (bc frump ruins everyone and everything he touches).
