GI Doc believes my two year long struggles are anterior cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome and cyclical vomiting syndrome (especially with migraines history). So he's shipping me off to pain management for possible needles into my stomach and I already have an appointment with my primary about the recent changes to my migraines so he told me to further discuss CVS treatment options with her that should cover both. CVS is more known in children than adults and even then it's uncommon. Yay.

@SmirkingRaven Sorry to read this. Sounds like you been thru hell! I'm not a doc, but I'm a nurse who's wkd in pain mgmt. I don't kno ur situation, but wanted to offer a sugg abt migraines. Have u disc'd Botox or if it's an option? I both worked for & was in migraine study for this at Mayo & it wk'd remarkably well for me. Also, nerve pain is tricky, but Neurontin & Lyrica wk well for some. I have neuropathy frm chemo & didn't work for me. Everyone's diff. I kno it's complex. I wish u the best.🌸

@JetSetChristy8 Thanks! I haven't tried Botox yet; my mom gets it for her benign tumor headaches so I know it can help quite a bit with head pain. I will definitely be speaking to my primary about options at our appt next week 🙃
