To my fellow CoSonauts out there, I pose this query:
Does your spouse or significant other spend all of their non-work time on their mobile device? Like every time you enter a room they’re in or look their way they are staring and scrolling…

If so, how do you feel about/deal with it? “Asking for a friend”

And yes I totally recognize the absurdity of posing that question in an online forum.

@Jer_am_i Honestly, talk to them about it. It really is that simple... 😘

@princesscarolyn sadly, simple isn’t always as it seems.
But ty for taking the time :)

@Jer_am_i I'm sorry to hear that. Not being able to broach topics with your spouse is often a sign of deeper problems - trust me, I know! And I suspect you do as well...

But being really honest, there really is no other way... 😘

@Jer_am_i Don't have a s/o, but I understand how frustrating it must be for you.

I make sure to switch my phone off when I'm with a friend and at night but realise that it's old school and most people are on their phones all day.

If it would bother me I'd probably suggest a "present time" where all devices are switched off, or first a detox w/o phones (like during vacation), the addicted brain rewires itself quickly after "phone rehab".
