@MidnightRider Yes. Especially since reaching mid-life I sometimes feel a brutal despair—there so little we can do about the agonizing separations, the vulnerabilities…so many incomprehensible realities and unanswered questions. I find the world of my thoughts to be more real than the world around me. I’ll think: perhaps I’m crazy? But then I’m like: nobody notices…guess they are to? Then I let all that go and try to enjoy being alive. Very strange.
@WellWellWell3 @MidnightRider I'm with you there. After what happened to my cat and I a couple of weeks ago, I concluded I cannot trust anyone. I stopped worrying about the future. Mostly anyway. I live for now. Right now I am worried about getting through another week and having enough food and medical supplies. I'm more stressed than normal.
@JeniRizio @MidnightRider I’m so sorry about you cat. I hope things get better.
Thank you. We are both home safe and sound after that ordeal and I can thank both the Camden, NY police and the NYS Troopers @WellWellWell3 @MidnightRider
@JeniRizio I didn’t know you lived in Camden, I have family there. Glad you’re home safe and sound and back home. Now you can hit Eddies before they close, I just got a shirt from there this summer. 😂
@MidnightRider Thank you. I don't live in Camden but the guy does. Becky and I were staying with him due to a pest control issue in my building. I'm near Utica.
@MidnightRider Agreed, no sadly. Casa Too Mucha went under during or before the pandemic. I loved their fish tacos. Yes, cannoli are delish, Purple Cow became Slice Pizzeria and they sell them there (and their beloved wings).
@JeniRizio Cannoli, Bleeker street? I don’t remember, but we pretty much owned the whole city of Utica so I spent a lot of time there doing business. It was back when Faxton was its own hospital.
