Where my language learners at? I am heading to Welsh practice soon and going to fit in some Duolingo too.

@MordantCarnival Oh wow -- that's great! What drew you to Welsh? For me it was the sound, so cool!
@MordantCarnival Oh man, I am sorry to hear -- did you go through the Welsh Not period? :( I give taster lessons on my Youtube channel at no charge and take requests. Would you like the link? I do it all for the love of the beautiful language.
@MordantCarnival Thank you. New video posted yesterday. I hope I did not scare you off.
@MordantCarnival Thank you. I understand. I was worried the jailhouse interview had scared some people off (the learner from prison)
@LadyKathleenofFluterton Sweet! How is it going? I would love to learn it some day. I only know a few words
@JeniRizio it’s going well! The hardest part for me is learning three writing systems!
@LadyKathleenofFluterton I was wondering about that. Kanji has what, 1000s of characters? And don't Japanese speakers combine letters from all three character systems?
@JeniRizio Spanish here, on Duolingo. I remembered some from high school (graduated 40 years ago), but have learned much more in one year with Duolingo than in 3 years of HS Spanish.
@sanau aw, sweet! me gusta habla español.
@JeniRizio Yo también. Y mi padre vive en Mexico ahora, entonces necesito aprender más porque él tiene muchos amigos mexicanos allí.
Hello. Learning Irish via Doulingo.
@fugitive247 aw neat! I'm learning Welsh! How is it going?
It's going well, thank you. I find, though, that Duolingo lessons have to be supplemented with additional material. On its own, Duolingo is lacking in guidance on key points such as syntax, usage case explanations (ex: tense, gender, etc.), and audio enunciation.
@fugitive247 perhaps this well help? https://duome.eu/tips/en/ga
Very cool, thank you. ⚘
@fugitive247 gladly, any time
@JeniRizio currently studying Japanese over here!
