I am not in the USA.. But after seeing lots of kids in the USA in the foster home system, some in their teens and still hoping for a "forever home" ... My heart pains fot such kids...
wish it is possible for other nationals (outside of the US) to adopt these kids and give them the love and home they deserve.
id take 5-10 kids openly if it is possible.
@SocialistKitty yeah.. But the kids are caught up in the middle, are the ones that suffer the most,, not the goverment, not the system, not the biological parents.
Endorsed my dear. I see the evidence daily and it's disgusts me. Our fanciful celebrities and richy richards who parade children they have acquired from other countries get media backpatting while these children get ignored. I do not under any circumstance begrudge those children the chance of a better life but I do stifle praise for those who have chosen to gloat their adoptions of them. It's gross all the way around.
We toe tag children who truly need protection from demons and wring our hands in despair while proclaiming they fell through the cracks and that's a damn lie spun from the gates of hell. I ruminate about it and rail against them at every chance. It is one of our national shames, that rival racism, internment camps, rampant homelessness and babies who go to bed hungry because we are a selfish glot of assembly in our politics. Truth from an American.
@Jellifish
Jellifish, may I offer the perspective of a many years foster parent. This system protects few, exploits the pain of children and all too often faltering parents due to nothing they have done except struggle to survive, all to sustain a behemoth of hateful governmental interference that benefits no one just for profit. That is an ugly fact, from family court judges, attorneys, DFS agencies, and law enforcement offices across this country. It is an evil enterprise.
