Apparently there was also supposed to be a "massive" cyber attack on Israel while this was going on.
This might explain the Internet in northern Israel being slightly slow sometime during the Israeli afternoon.
That didn't last long and I'm not sure why they wasted the effort if they really tried.

Supposedly Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, issued a war alert for all combat units in Lebanon and Syria about 2hrs ago. But within an hour of posting the message was denounced as fake and the tweet was deleted.
Maybe it wasn't fake?

The groups of the martyr leader Haj Imad Mughniyeh in the Islamic Resistance, this morning, Sunday, October 8, 2023, attacked three sites of the Zionist occupation in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms area, which are:
The radar site, the Zabdin site, and the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site were fired with large numbers of artillery shells and guided missiles, and the sites were hit directly.

So far there is zero evidence that they hit anything at all, much less fired "large numbers" of anything.
They cannot be the only terrorist group in the 21st century that does not video its attacks, can they?
And presto, we have video...
Of a single anti-tank rocket fired at the water tower of an IDF fortified position and apparently doing no damage.
Presto parts two and three combined into one double header.
HizbAllah released a propaganda video showing their attacks on the other two IDF positions. Looks like they used both 120mm and 82mm mortars on these locations and got some hits. Which explains the IDF return fire.
