So, the neighbor and I were talking, and my question was answered. That lovely ruckus I heard was guinea fowl, there were 6 in his yard and lemme tell ya. Dem bitches are LOUD. Pretty, but the pretty isn't with the ruckus lol

Good morning! Can anyone help me identify the most annoying bird call I've ever heard in my life? Do you listen closely it's the noise in the background. The one that sounds like somebody jumping on a rusty box spring mattress of a bed, while a car alarm goes off. I don't know how else to describe it LOL it's loud and obnoxious that's about all I can tell you lol

Garden is coming along! Got a later start than I originally planned, but, unlike the North East, I won't have to worry about early frost or anything like that, as the seasons change. Zucchini, yellow squash, tomato and tendersweet orange watermelon. One of mynHoney rock cantaloupe plants has a blossom as well! It's been 3 weeks, without more than a sprinkle of rain & mid 90's, which slowed things down. Hopefully, today we get some rain.

Lemon cukes. Older plants are 2 weeks old. The seedlings have come up un the last few days. Will transplant once bigger. Giving a couple seedlings away to a coworker/friend who is in temp housing and limited access to food. I'll get him a pot when they're ready. And he can grow on balcony at the hotel. Also will share the tomatoes, zucchini, watermelon, and cantaloupe I'm growing.

Ok, #CoSoGardening Crew: Don't laugh. I've never grown carrots. First time. These are my new seedlings. I've never paid attention. Carrots grow in groups right? So is each green sprig the beginning of a cluster of carrots, or a single one? These are rainbow carrots. Not that that matters. Unless it does. 😅

9:15PM! I thought it was like 730-8. Checked the clock and holy moly. In MA 9pm is pretty much the latest on the longest day of light. Not here!

I keep staring at his cute face. At 4.5 weeks, it's much too early to tell, but I realllllllllly hope this little nugget turns out show quality. If he does, he'll be joining the family in August. Those eyes! That face! I've always wanted a dark brindle boy. Dad is pictured also. At under 2 years old, he won the 1st Award of Merit at our National this year. His breeders also won Select B!tch & Best of Opposite sex this year. The BOS girl won Best of Breed last year. Top of the top breeders.🥰

This dog. Every morning when I wake up, and any time I come home, he wants hugs, and reaches out for me like this. DeeDee tried giving him a hug, but nope. He needed mom 🤣
