Got the pics from Gidee and his brother's pics from our impromptu photoshoot. I love them!

In other news we head to Greenville, SC next weekend for a dog show. I cant wait!

Met up with a friend for drinks and we got some gorgeous pics of the dogs. She has a littermate to my two. Named D'Argo. I don't have their pics together yet, but here's a few she took of Gidee 💜💜

Part 2 of 2 totally unphased, on both ends. The dogs go do their thing, while the deer do theirs. It's a cool thing to witness and be a part of. Animals can teach us.so much, if we pay enough attention 💜 leaders on how to coexist with those different than us.

Also seen on the farm, our resident deer family. A young buck and 3 doe. The other 2 doe were around the corner. This is, I believe, thr same group who twice stomped & chased away the bobcat. A unique friendship with my dogs and I. No fear, no running or chasing. Always mutual respect.

Part 1 of 2.

We have a resident turkey family..a big Tom, 2 hens and a whole bunch of babies! They live in the trees behind my place, and spend their days foraging the pastures and walking the property line.🦃🦃🦃

Well, today is a good day to stay off social media as a whole. Did my morning garden check, patio plants are thriving! Lemon cukes are climbing, seedlings are growing, as is the bell pepper, and now, the baby basil and dill (not weeds, as my high self thought and weeded our earlier in the week😅) new sprouts are looking good!

Now, to go get lost in my book! A great memoir, from one of the greatest Boxer breeders in history! A gift from my judge friend/mentor💜

When I talk about Gidee's temperament, this right here is a prime example. DeeDee is in near standing heat. The point a lot if male dogs will lose their minds, chew through doors, run away etc. This dog, this incredible soul, is actively taking himself AWAY from the situation, and purposely not looking at her, even tho she's a hussy 😅 You can see the internal struggle, of primal instinct vs prime goodest boy. Goodest boy won! 💜 I'm very blessed to have such great dogs

Dinner tonight. 10/10 recommend. Sourdough toast topped with Laughing Cow cheese, cranberry pecan chicken salad and hot honey drizzle.🤤

remember I shared my little throw it all in a pot and see if it grows, pot the other day? Lemon cukes, a green pepper 🌱 and then dill & basil in quadrants in-between.

Well. I ate a magic gummy. In full effect now. I went out to water the plants, saw these little green things growing and my high ass forgot about throwing the herb seeds in. I "weeded" like 90% of them before I remembered and realized what I just did. 😭🤣🤣🤣

It be that way sometimes. Gotta laugh about it🤣🤣

To cheer myself up, and hopefully any of you who need a smile, too, here's Cash! The Brussels Griffon version of Grumpy Cat. Sweetest boy, I got free range to do whatever I wanted. I chose a light body cut, with some scraggly hair left on his legs & ears, for character, and a mohawk, because he's a little badass!.

Jessa is not okay. Today was the breaking point of sharing. I got a call early this morning Cooper needed to be let go. Grandpa to my 2. The boy who made me really fall in love with the breed. Yesterday, I found out another friend from childhood died in Costa Rica on vacation. I woke up yesterday to mom's guina pig passing. Week before I lost a friend, and the week before that, the week before that, another of a brain aneurysm. I can't take it anymore.

Run free Coop I ♥️ you

Lemme tell ya. Snack time is hitting the spot!! Triscuit, laughing cow cheese, cranberry pecan chicken salad and drizzled with hot honey 🤤🤤

Drag-i-tudeeeeee! He wanted out, so he was being a turd lol.

Confession: I gave in. He ran around the house and settled on looking out the back door 😆

Embracing his inner dinosaur, rawr! Ollie is special and has special needs. His depth perception is way off, and his back legs are wonky. I always try to hand feed him half of his worms, to ensure he's getting some in. Then I let him hunt the others. Sometimes, he just wants to do it all on his own and will close his eyes and shake his head no, when I offer the worm. Today, he wanted to take them, but you could tell he was annoyed. That extra sass when he grabs the worm😆

For @LnzyHou. Ziggie's snack 'n snuggle this morning. Hope his little nomnom noises bring you a smile! His snack today is a lovely buffet of mustard greens, carrot and lemon cucumber.
