To add to the list of weird shit that happens to Jess. I somehow slept wrong and cut off circulation to my arm. Like big time. It was purple. This is how it still looks!😳

Hell week is officially over, and I'm officially a hundred miles in on my journey up to Massachusetts. Bathed my own dogs before we began the trip. Took a few pictures. Aren't they adorable!

Wildest part of my day wasn't grooming 9 dogs. It was when I got home. Had the dogs out. There were 2 deer in the field, watching us. Then, all of a sudden they started running to the tree line snorting & stomping. I look up & they're chasing off a bobcat! They retreated back up towards us, started grazing, then again charge the tree line snorting and stomping. Bobcat was back! It was almost like they were protecting us as well as themselves. It was crazy. I took this video after I came inside💜
Pixie's mom told me her ears actually stood straight up when they weren't so weighed down. I took her word for it, halfdoubtedly.

A before during and after. This girl wouldn't/couldn't stand. Her whole groom was lying down. Sweet old girl l. Matted head to toe. Mom is an older gal herself and couldn't afford to have her groomed for a year. Broke my heart. Sweetest woman. Often time the neglect is a result of careless humans. But, sometimes, like in the case of this woman, it's due to not having the means. This dog is the apple of her mom's eye and it was clear from the very beginning.
Her name is Pixie❤️
Laundry, cleaning and this are how I spent my one day off. The last 6 day work week of the year is over. 5 more days of grooming hell, then I begin my trek back to MA Friday after my last dog of the day.
Not even gunna lie. I'm exhausted and I'll be in bed before 8 tonight.😅
One thing I grateful for, is all this hell at work has helped distract me from my own hell, holiday depression. The other thing I'm grateful for is the dishwasher that I forgot I had, never used, & is now doing the dishes😆
