We both were reading Dr. Seuss by 3, and chapter books by 4. My mom was telling me about it when we went to see her. The schools told her to stop letting me read in my spare time, because they were afraid I would be bored in Kindergarten otherwise...I don't think they needed to worry. I spent my Kindergarten year programming my own games on an Apple Mac I.
