So proud of my bestest boy. With time to kill before groups, I entered him in the AKC Temperament test on a whim. He passed both tests with flying colors.

What does the temperament test involve?
@Kittiekatt53 it's a course they have to complete, including obstacles & human interaction and touch. Horns & whistles blown, jars of rocks shaken in their faces, a rolling bag rolled around them as they stwns in place, umbrella opened up in their faces as they walk by, a chair being dragged & then dropped in ground, approached by human using crutches and walking, while remaining still etc. This is the course below. Tarp, ladder, grate, teetertot, blow up mattress with grate on top, hulahoop etc
@JeSsA Wow! Betcha, a lot of humans couldn't pass that test. Lol. You said you were surprised Gideon passed, yuo didn't train him for it?
@Kittiekatt53 never trained him for any of it! He had never done any of that kind of stuff. He has a phenomenal, rock solid temperament though, and very confident. I believe in him 100% & because of that, I wasn't surprised he passed. He got a perfect score his first run! He's a one in a million dog❤️
@JeSsA Wow! Not only is he Great, he's also Amazing Gideon! Will you be registering him for other temperament test competitions? I enjoy watching that Westminster Dog Show. It would be nice to watch this on tv, too.
