I have gone over to twitter however it now simply makes me sad to see literally. I get sad and tearful. Seeing such bitterness in everyone's comments and realizing that so many people in our country thrive on social media now a days like that. CoSo is the exception and a very special exception at that.
@TheNewsOwl now ya know why I get so protective and annoyed when folks come over from Twitter and try and make CoSo the same. Like no, just no. Iβm glad you see the specialness ππ
@BillyBones @TheNewsOwl ohhh fawk no. I got a little bitchy at the first two insurges, because it was that mentality. This isn't my place, but it's OURS, and the OG's who know what makes it so special, tend to guard and protect that fiercely. For good reason!
It takes a while to come off the rage machine, and many Twitter refugees come in hot
The beauty, thanks to the magic that is CoSo, has been watching the new #CoSoFam members come off it, and start enjoying all CoSo has to offer.π
@JeSsA @BillyBones @TheNewsOwl I have to admit I came in a bit hot myself. Took me awhile here to calm back down and I can't tell you how much good that did for my mental health.
Twitter was toxic. I poisoned my heart staying there as long as I did.
CoSo is pure and healthy.
@Myana @BillyBones @TheNewsOwl I totally get it! I was very into ya know. The whole blue wave and resistance stuff, all the lists and screaming into the void. Then I would come here to escape from that. Gradually I spent less and less time there and am so much better for it. I still believe in those causes I was fighting for. Bug find more productive ways to try and make a difference. CoSo is what was great about early social media π
