I never but rarely post about my daughter here, but here goes...
This lil funny face has her first day back at school today in two weeks! She was so excited to get back to school, that when we were on our way up the road, she ran into one of her school friends, and then they held hands together the rest of the way.

I should note that she took her friend's hand without asking first, but it was just so cute. Both of them saying hi to us Moms as they walked together. Then my girl told the crossing guard her friend does whatever she wants (like that's how cool her friend is). I mentioned to the other Mom that it would be so nice if we could arrange a playdate for them outside of school sometime, and gave her my number. It's amazing that my girl is building friendships so well.
