"The Art of Mick McMahon Apex Edition Vol 2" from @2000AD is yet another work of beauty. I love all of this, The ABC Warriors, V.C.'s, Robusters and Slaine. The Sky chariot battle scene is the greatest page of Slaine ever made.. look at the detail! And my favourite character General Blackblood, thank the makers this made it into the book

I think I'm enjoying enough to keep playing, the little side missions are fun but there's some janky stuff going on now and then with the main characters. A short walk through the mines, Sarah and Andreja have had the same conversation 3 times now and not once been facing each. Im guessing this is normal Bethesda behaviour?

Started playing which so far, feels like Cyberpunk 2077 skinned up as Star Citizen but not as polished. A few hours in had a go at one of the early side missions, find the secret lair of the Mantis. Goddamn that was tough. I was level 8 fighting level 50 Spacers.. really wasn't prepared for that. Barely made it out with any ammo. The ship and suit upgrade was worth it!

I love playing No Mans Sky. I finally got around to completing 100% with that last achievement. Permadeath! Only took me 2594 hours. Now I can relax and play the new Echoes update. Thankyou Hello Games it's been fun 🚀

The Illustrated Bladerunner printed by Blue Dolphin in 1982. I had forgotten this exists. Thankfully someone at cinephiliabeyond.org has shared a complete scan of the book in their dropbox. The link is in this nice Bladerunner article cinephiliabeyond.org/illustrat

"The Art of Kevin ONeill Apex Edition" from @2000AD is another archival treasure. I'm Blown away, beautifully clean linework of ABC Warriors, Nemesis and the epic Metalzoic, so much detail.. Prog 112 and 167 are the greatest 2000ad covers ever. How lucky are we that we get to see this work in such detail. Love it!

I love Sci-Fi, and will give it all a go. Was looking forward to seeing on SyFy.. Episode 1.. That was painful to watch. Terrible script, bad acting.. and the CGI is so bad it made me laugh at one point. Wheel obstruction I'm looking at you! I know it's low budget, but they really made it look cheap.. It could be pilot episode blues. Ill wait for future episodes to see if it got better.

Nice book came out recently "Giger Vivier" - French photographer Camille Vivier did a photoshoot at Gigers house and studio, and while there took photos of the rooms and objects lying around. Awesome to see more insight into Gigers surroundings. Great shots of the sculpture garden. Always love seeing the scale of those giant paintings in the background. And the doodles in white on his work space is new to me. Amazing. Review at degradedorbit.com/articles/gig .R.Giger

This is awesome. Unseen images from Kevin O'Neill's Mek Memoirs that were not included in the Mek Memoirs Facsimili Edition. Shared by Pat Mills on his Iconoblast Substack iconoblast.substack.com/p/kevi

My personal favourite films of 2022 - The Banshees of Inisherin, Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Batman, Nope, Prey, Vesper, Brian and Charles. Still need to see Wakanda, Whale and Avatar though

The Banshees of Inisherin. What a great film, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson were so good. And a great additional character from Barry Keoghan. Everyone in it was amazing, Some very funny low key character humour. Maybe even a little dark. I loved it. youtube.com/watch?v=uRu3zLOJN2
Extra love to Jenny the donkey

Only just discovered Australian TV show Mr. Inbetween. I love it, some great dark humour, how am I only hearing about now? Scott Ryan is great. Just caught up with the end of season 2. That final episode though, damn, that hit me in the feels.. Getting ready for Season 3 mate.

Necronomicon – 1980’s VHS Sci-Fi Horror Movie.
A 1980's low budget horror movie inspired by my hero H.R. Giger. Just amusing myself with a bit of fun in MidJourney. Full link to more images and story here jasonsystem.com/

Rest in peace Kevin O'Neill. Another legendary artist to my generation. ABC Warriors, Rojaws and Hammerstein, Robusters, LOEG, Metalzoic, goddamn Marshal Law! I used to be obsessed with Nemesis the Warlock, such a unique and unmistakable style. He will be missed

The "Judge Dredd by Mick McMahon Apex Edition" from @2000AD is a thing of beauty. The artwork has never looked so good. Amazing historical document of the evolution of Dredd through the ages. McMahon is the boss, what an awesome book. Love the new artwork for this edition.
