FYI - We learned that Cavalcante was found not by law enforcement searching that particular area, but because a homeowner went out for a cigarette and forgot to turn off his alarm. Officers came to the area to see if everything was ok - and then they scanned the area and discovered him. So the home owner said it was “dumb luck”!

Our worst fear: Danelo Cavalcante is now armed. Broke into a residence, homeowner shot at him 7 times, unsure if he was hit. On his way out, Cavalcante grabbed a sawed off .22 rifle with a scope, flashlight, and 10 round magazine. Owen J Roberts school district is closed. Search continues in East Nantmeal.

Danelo Cavalcante got past the perimeter yesterday, stole a van at the Bailey’s Dairy Farm, and drove out towards where he killed his girlfriend in Phoenixville.

It’s much closer to us.

He’s also shaved all of his facial hair and has different clothes on.

The van was seen early this morning near Phoenixville, PA.

Law enforcement immediately sent helicopters out - and then the officers arrived in their vehicles. (Part 1)

We’re on Day 10 of the manhunt for Danelo Cavalcante here in Chester County. Now 400 searchers on the ground and in the air. State, local, FBI, and BORTAC searching. Skies filled with helicopters and drones - the black hawks have been added. Plus plenty of dogs. He moved slightly towards my direction - I’m 10 miles away - doubtful he will continue my direction.

BORTAC arrived in Wilmington, DE about 90 minutes ago to help with the search for escaped killer Danelo Cavalcante. Hopefully they headed to the search area before these severe thunderstorms start in our area!!! Plus, sunset is at 7:25pm.

Going to bed early - too much scanner listening and radar watching - as we’re on Day 7 waiting for Danelo Cavalcante to be caught.
