I missed the last train to the WTC that morning by seconds. It took me many years before I could write about it.

@Jacque glad you’re still here with us. We have family members with near miss stories, too.

Will check your blog.

@Jacque Wow, what a story. Thanks for writing it. 💜

Coincidentally. I'd been to the Top Of The World restaurant about a year before (my cousin's husband worked in the North Tower but wasn't working on 9/11). I hate heights but that still stood at the glass and looked down. I felt like it was something I should at least try. I was terrified but fascinated and remember revisiting the feelings (as well as horror) as I watched the events unfolding on TV in England 😢

Never Forget indeed 🇺🇸

@Jacque thanks for sharing your experience. Sorry you went through it… or that anyone did… but glad you missed the train. My ex brother in law drove to Boston at the last minute instead of going into work that dat and my other ex brother in law was trapped in the city for hours but had stopped to pick up something before heading to the office. Your story reminds me of their experiences. They took us to the top of one of the buildings not long after.. that enormous gaping hole … astonishing.
