@JoyfullyDazed long before the ease of e-books, I always had a paperback or two with me. I read them while waiting outside courtrooms, in doctor's waiting rooms, at home, basically everywhere I had a few minutes.

There's another quote by JRR Martin that a person who reads books can have a thousand lives, while those who don't, have but one.

We're kindred spirits. I always have a book with me. I love the ease of my Kindle when traveling, simply bc variety is at my fingertips, but holding a printed book will always be my preference.

@JoyfullyDazed

I've pretty much given up on paperbacks.All my reference books are in paperback or hardback. But all my general reading is in ebook format. It's less expensive, easier to carry, has a backlight for reading in bed at night, and I can look words up if I don't understand them. I find print books don't have that feature. ;)

When I left the country for a year, it was me and my Paperwhite.

@J_Windrow

I understand. We're very lucky to have the technology that allows us a great way to enjoy reading with ease.
