Weather report. Yesterday it was tornado central here. I think there were six rotations, but none hit where I am in tornado alley.
Lots of injuries in the areas where structures were demolished plus missing pets and farm animals.
One hit not far from the home of a friend but she and her rescue cats are okay and she's out helping find missing animals. Early reports were 7 dead, but thankfully that was wrong.
My wee little dog was scared to death.
@J_Windrow I’m sorry you have to go through that but I’m glad you and your friend are okay and that the loss wasn’t worse. Hopefully your dog is doing better today.
@badkoukla Yeah, wee little dog is fine now. I think it's the air pressure change that sets her off. Or maybe sound.
It's entirely different from her usual alerts: Hey, someone is at the door, so you need to go there. Or Hey, get the microwave, would ya? Etc.
We spent some quality time in the interior room of the house set aside for those "oh shit" moments.
Today there weren't even branches down on my street. Whew!
