Whatever the outcome of the election, we need to get rid of the Electoral College. Just because I live in Massachusetts and you live in Mississippi, doesn't mean our votes aren't as important as the swing states'.

@J_TAPES In a recent Democracy docket web seminar Jamie Raskin talked about that being one of the main goals of house Democrats should they get the majority. Statehood for Puerto Rico and Washington DC are others.
@J_TAPES I also think it's way past time to get rid of an institution designed to give rich people extra votes for having slaves.
