I assume all of this has been wargamed out.
My main question is whether Putin would consider losing in Ukraine to be worth losing everything everywhere.
Because it appears to me the former outcome isn't an unrealistic possibility at this point, whether or not NATO gets involved more directly.
Someone needs to explain the upside for him.
Me, I think all this dick-wagging of his is an attempt to demoralize the Ukrainians, get them to think that NATO's not backing them up hard enough. I don't think they'll buy it, myself.

Because he's doing so well against just Ukraine? He's looking for a bigger challenge? He want to go bankrupt even faster?
