Are there actually any penalties for lying to Congress during SCOTUS nomination hearings?

@JLordanKelly It's been pretty clear for several years that there are no penalties for lying to Congress, period. At least not for Republicans.
@JLordanKelly it looks to me like nobody is held accountable for anything in government....ever.
@JLordanKelly You will know you have disappointed and concerned Susan Collins, and who can live with that?
