Serious question: Is it actually impossible to run a virtual Android device inside a virtual machine (like an AWS VPS), or even run an APK on a virtual machine - either Windows or Linux will do?
Is there no layer that will allow me to do this that doesn't require a bare-metal CPU with Intel VT-x or AMD-V support?
I can't be the only person in the galaxy who has a need for this.

@th3j35t3r SauceLabs has something that does mobile platform emulation. I cannot recall how they were doing it behind the scenes. I’d have to dig up my notes.
