I accidentally clicked on a tweet in a news article and it launched twitter.
I committed the sin of social engagement to the Shit Buffet.
Elon will now count my mistake in his DAU as a measure of success.
I need to build a tweet-link blocker.
Instead of opening the tweet it just redirects to a random selection of GIFs that shame the link clicker.
Then an airhorn sound plays.

@Turial I think I could use pi-hole as a way to accomplish at least to the blocking to the tweet. It would also prevent the tweet card from showing up in the article.
Or we could … you know … demand news media stop linking to tweets and only screenshot the tweet and embed the image.
That would REALLY cut down on Elon’s prideful DAU metric.
