@IslandNewsService I notice - and disconcerted somewhat by it, that the only current disturbance in the Eastern Atlantic, which I assumed would be going on its merry north-westwardly way, is now expected to go due west or (gulp) SOUTH-west!

@Pat_Walrond System is forecast to move generally westward to west-southwestward across the tropical Atlantic, where environmental conditions could become more favorable for gradual development in the central Tropical Atlantic by the mid to latter part of this
week.
