I am an American, but for the first time in my life, I do not feel a sense of pride in that. This country is turning toward a very dark place and I feel ashamed. But it gives me hope that there seem to be people, the majority of us, in truth, who are actually going to stand up and be counted to overthrow the darkness that is threatening our democratic republic.
