Why doesn't allow me to install its site as a web app in ChromeOS?

@Iskios You can try to install the app from the playstore on chromeos.

@MrGoat I'm talking about ChromeOS, not Android. I want to be able to use the website as a webapp the way I can with Mastodon, Sharket, etc., but Counter.Social seems to block that.

@Iskios @MrGoat Oh! Sorry. Somehow I managed to miss ChromeOS, not Chrome Browser.

Let me see what it does on my old ChromeOS device.

@Iskios and now reading into this further, simply creating a shortcut shouldn't be that hard.

@MrGoat It should work, but the Counter.Social site seems to block it on ChromeOS. I can create a web app in Linux, Windows, and MacOS, but on ChromeOS the option is not available for this site although it is available for most other social media sites.

@MrGoat Correct, it shouldn't, but Counter.Social seems to block that too.

@Iskios hmm maybe something something no api access allowed for that and I'm pretty sure there's no COSO app for ChromeOS so you'll have to use a desktop site. Just stay logged in and use 2fa - nobody gonna hack your account even with the password unless they also cloned your phone.

@Iskios Brave browser lets me do it on Win 11, without issue, and it's based off Chromium.
