It really is tiresome that we seem to be stuck with this two party system. Such a system eventually leads to a lot of extremism on both ends and incalcitrant attitudes that don’t allow for any meaningful debate or action.
Parliamentary system may sometimes crumble, but they are designed to allow the government to be rebuilt. This mess we have doesn’t.

@Iskios this mess could be repaired by rank choice voting, which helps nullify the grip of parties
