@Jacki I think you have it right! Mind you, I suppose it could just be my server (mastodon.social) which hosts everyone, including the people you mention. But even then the people here on CoSo seem to just be friendlier and more willing to engage. People on Mastodon seem a bit more quiet to me. Less engaged.

Why? Because the ppl on this site are drawn to it bc they're decent folks. Ppl from lots of other sites only want division and arguments so they stay away from here. Fine with me! I love this place.
