Part of being an activist is engaging with those who don't agree with you and at times, you need to send the same energy back to them.

It's like that with trolls too.

@IndigenousPatriot I’m part of a local FB group that focuses on county politics. It’s a who’s who of the scene - operatives, candidates, current & former elected officials…

Just yesterday I was agreeing with a major M4L nut on something…

But I have no problem throwing the gauntlet either.

@BrainTrust

But at least you can step out of your echo chamber and find agreement with people you generally don't.

Sometimes they just want to disagree because you're different.

@IndigenousPatriot oh, of course. It’s a constant battle. That’s the whole point.

I’m building coalitions with centrist R’s who aren’t a fan of Ron or the corruption and bs happening in FL. Some are even former Trump supporters.

If people want to actually affect change, they must be willing to get their hands dirty. Unfortunately too many seem lost to apathy.

@BrainTrust

That's a valid tactic, too.

Apathy means less people at the polls.

Historically, Republicans have used fear to drive people to vote but they're a smaller voting bloc and understand that they need to convince Dem voters to stay home in order to make up for it.
