He’s a former GOP congressman and a successful TV show personality. She’s the also the latter AND the daughter of Carter’s natsec advisor. Both of these two have privilege and protection to burn.

There are many possibilities here but one thing is sure -- they obviously are afraid of something. Whether it's winding up losing 2 or 3 houses cuz lawyer fees or Brendan Carr fucking with MSNBC and NBC...who knows.
That said...they are much better equipped (in terms of capital, name recognition, who they know...you know, power) than the rest of us are. And right away they bend over.
Personal -- I never liked 'em, anyway. Joe was the FL Newt so he's reverting to form. Whatevs.
