To be honest, I don't think many Singles fans would say Friends had the same vibe. I certainly don't think so. But the connection doesn't make me scratch my head. You're probably going to be surprised by this, but if I had a choice to watch Singles or Friends, I'd watch Singles every time.
So, I guess my answer to your question is no. Two different feels.
Correct! I’d rate that “Friends v. Singles” admission a solid 7 on my Surprise-O-Meter.
