I get nauts re the gray lady. From Reagan/Bush to fake Clinton travails to Dubya and Iraq lies, to false equivalencies of HRC vs DJT (getting played by McGonigal and Comey's FBI shit)...everyone remembers all that and it ain't great. But mass media "objectivity" amirite?
Abandoning our "national papers" (NYT and WaPo) -- where would that leave us? 24 cable news cycle is the REAL poison.

I always assumed Barr was up to all kinds of no good. I didn't know what exactly, but I knew it was happening. The different types of corruption was hidden, but the involvement in corruption wasn't. There wasn't even an attempt to hide it, which has gotten much worse since 2020.
