This type of "duty" is fairly routine for those of us who work service and/or restaurant jobs.

We are watching out for you and yours the best we can, from behind the bar and/or the servers' station. Even the kitchen.

Never doubt it.

I remember being in clubs when I was young and seeing bartenders take away women's drinks whom they suspected had their drinks spiked, by saying to them let me refresh that drink for you on the house.

Today bartenders offer or women ask if they can have an "Angel Shot".

The bartenders and servers (and bouncers!) are the sentries for this type of behavior. 95% of the credit goes rightfully to them. 🔥👍

But yes, kitchen peeps are apprised.

Can confirm. Kitchen staff hid and protected me from a blind date that turned very scary within 20 minutes of me sitiing down for dinner. It's the only time I ditched a date.
