I was 8 when JFK was elected and he was a mythical character... so that's a hard one to let go of. But I've become used to the idea that there was just a little PR going on through all of it 😜

@tgraph52 @InUnfunky JFK had all the advantages when he was growing up. Well, it's one thing to have those advantages, and another thing to make effective use of them. This topic is covered in an excellent book, _JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956_, by Fredrik Logevall.
