@rpardee Count me as a naive dude that was VERY DISAPPOINTED (circa '16) that many more "principled GOPers" didn't call DJT a fashy too far and vote for HRC, but also as someone glad that people like Boot stood with us. And I agree with your final assessment.
@InUnfunky One real consciousness-raiser for me after 2016 was the never-trumpers like Boot. I had at that point pretty much dismissed the entire GOP as unprincipled bad-faith power-mongers. But that was only true of like 95% of the party.
Now, however, not sure what that percentage is. Higher.
