Is it just me, or does it really seem like SCOTUS is issuing less outrageous rulings since their ethics came under closer scrutiny?

The public calling for actual heads on pikes might actually have some effect on people.

Or maybe the notion that state legislatures can override their own voters if they're unhappy with the way they voted is facially noxious to the way our country is supposed to be run, and there's no way to tap-dance around that?
