@Jeber he keeps me safe, doubleplus good.
We were told to expect it from the govt, though, not business. Alas..
@Jeber butbutbut they must be my friend, right? Only friends say happy birthday! Friend corpo loves me, truly!
Getting absolutely wrecked with happy birthday emails from corporate senders in a hurry to make sure I know they care exactly enough about me as a person to have someone write a small script to generate marketing emails based on their customer database's Personally Identifiable Information and firehose it out into the internet forever.
Thanks for showing the love, Megacorp Inc. You really seem like a normal human legal entity.
@LiberalLibrarian That's not stopping Russian state media from telling their people we've got tens of thousands of troops there, fighting, right now, being killed by valorous Russian soldiers.
@redenigma Or rather, light sockets they don't work in.
And I have a UPS for my computer that occaisionally just.. starts screaming with a voltage meter saying it's dipped down below safe-for-electronics range.
@redenigma try it in another socket to be sure. I've found that LED lights are sensitive to lower voltage in a way traditional light bulbs aren't. My building has shoddy electrical work, and I have a few outlets they don't work in.
@LiberalLibrarian how’d it go? I also have back issues.
Starting Tesla- $2 Billion
Starting SpaceX - $1.5 Billion
Buying Twitter - $44 Billion
Not knowing Viagra solves the same problem?
- Priceless
(Note: I did not create this post. I stole it) *enjoy*
@LiberalLibrarian Pew pew? What about VRRRNMMM, VRRRNNNNNNNMMMM with a cardboard tube?
this is odd: "[Alito] disavows the entire line of jurisprudence upon which Roe rests: the existence of “unenumerated rights” that safeguard individual autonomy from state invasion. Alito asserts that any such right must be “deeply rooted” in the nation’s history and tradition, and access to abortion has no such roots"
up until the 1890s, abortion was not illegal in the US, and was considered a normal part of "women's business" that men didn't meddle in

@DanKravetsky I always did. I've never understood why people thought it couldn't. We don't have an actual democracy. We never have.
@LiberalLibrarian eh, they let it happen all the time though.
@LiberalLibrarian Which is so, so shocking. You would not believe how shocked I am. Just mind bogglingly, unbelievably shocked that Russian military prowess might have been overstated.
Shocked.
@LiberalLibrarian My guess is 2 was caused by 1. Missile hit it, detonated the ammo supply. Seems to be how they're killing all the tanks.
Russian military hardware seems to be built with a giant glowing weak spot like in video games.
Back after 4 years because of the Musk.
