I watched a 120 lb woman walking a 160 Rottweiler in Lowe’s today. It was mesmerizing. So much so, I followed them around the store.
She was a great pack leader. The dog walked slowly on a very short leash directly at her side. Terrified customers walked big circles around them.
I asked to approach as I wanted to tell her I appreciated how well-trained he was. She thanked me & said they had worked very hard to get there. It meant a lot to her that I saw it.
Look for the good & speak it.
When people walk away from you , let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

I eat lunch earlier than everyone else, so by the last hour of the day I'm often hungry again.
To avoid breaking my own "no food in ye library" rule, I usually take my snack and go on what I call a "pencil walk" - rescuing all the orphaned pencils from the hallway floors and giving them a new home in the library pencil cups.
I do this about once a week, and I have never purchased pencils for the library. 😆
I am so proud of my son. He and his development partner, developed an app, to connect recording artists with studios and vice versa. It's in beta, he's been working on it for yearssss....and he was featured on a podcast about his app, startups in Pittsburgh, and startups blending tech and art. I'm so, so proud. 😍

"Green hushing"
@IRNMKE3 it currently does, as the envelope has been constantly pushed since at least the late 60s.
yellow journalism was strongly frowned upon for awhile, but it came back with a vengeance post-911
@IRNMKE3 I assume it's coming. They're a coddled and sensitive bunch.
Remember when Russians messed with the GPS and EU *farmers* bitched about not being able to plow their fields without one, while fighter pilots shrugged and said 'I'll figure it out'?
It has been the years since we set a proper Thanksgiving table (old photo below).
The only reason we will now is family is traveling in. Otherwise, it would be a smaller catering order from AJs and a quick sit down.
I'm throwing a ton of support to The Holiday Project which is the normalization of the holiday season leading up to NYE in Hawaii. These traditions can power us through.
I told her a month ago, "we're going full holiday this year." ... And we are.
We are #dauntless. 1/2
So here I am in the woods hoping to see a deer to murder, when I hear leaves rustling for like 20 minutes. I had been making calls all morning, and thought that one finally got curious enough to check it out.
Turns out it was a flock of turkeys, and they came within 20 feet of me. Season's over for shooting them, but it was a cool experience to sit there in my ghillie suit, and whole they knew I was something, they seemed me not a threat, and eventually all 18 went on their merry way.
Remember how I said every once in a while Arthur decides a plant needs to die. Last night it was the newest leaf on this pendant Anthurium. (Now moved out of reach.) #GrowAllTheThings
I'm here now. Views are my own. More to come. Maybe I should add some snazzy emojis or something. Cool cool cool.
