@matuzalem yeah, I'm just going to say, first, both my parents came to the mainland from PR. If Islanders wanted statehood, they'd vote for it, they have not in each of the referendums. That's all I have, stay frosty!!
@matuzalem that bar is set too high, that people that reside on the island should have the final say. My parents left the island and never looked back. That's all I have. Thanks.
@IRNMKE3 , They have indeed managed to achieve a win for statehood through deceptive ballot maneuvers. However, the decision to grant statehood lies with Congress, and the vote should include all individuals born in the territory and residing there AND abroad.
