is there a source for wood screws that are NOT made from the finest Chinesium? i need to screw a slightly warped 2x4 (a source for decent lumber seems unlikely as well) to a frame. the 3" screws i bought at HD strip before even starting to enter the wood.
at this rate i'm likely to wedge the board & just fill the gaps between it & the frame with silicone sealer
