ππ» Treating any group as monolith is an ever-present danger in our discourse. The fetishization of any minority, as if the mere fact of its marginalization makes every single member in it more enlightened than everyone else, just keeps the whole group dehumanized in a different way.
Everyone has to seek out deeper empathy for themselves, no matter what subject-position they start out from - and we're all works in progress where that's concerned.
