Elon is employing Trump’s tactics. Per the Washington Post: "By disbanding it, we got fired instead of quit,” he said. “Elon doesn’t want criticism, and he really doesn’t want the kind of advice he would very likely get from a safety advisory council, which would likely tell him to rehire some of the staff he got rid of, and reinstate some of the rules he got rid of, and turn the company in another direction from where he is turning it.”

In August my family was subjected to repeated visits from religious zealots who wanted to control womens’ bodies. There is no way to describe the astonishment I felt when I learned Kansans voted to preserve the bodily autonomy our state constitution currently protects. Tomorrow morning may all of us feel the gratitude and hope I experienced thanks to a lot of hard work and the decency and common sense of Kansas voters in August!
