It wasn't going to be easy. After arguing back and forth with the urgent care office, I decided to drive 40 minutes and march in there to muscle them into sending the fax. Got a printout copy. Mayo just messaged me that they have the fax, I'm good to go, so I'll be on the operating table on Wednesday. Remind me to never use that fucking urgent care hell hole in the future.
@Liliki We are likely going to need to do more of this kind of thing if payments to providers for Medicaid & Medicare are cut. Even patients not using these government programs will probably be affected, at least to some extent. This is a big problem for anyone too old, sick, poor or otherwise resource limited. 🥺
@HopeSeeker I'm self pay so I'd say we're there already. The healthcare in this country is unforgivable.
