Wow…the first time in 50 years (since ‘73 and my first year of kindergarten!) that I’ve been at school for an actual tornado warning. Thank goodness my classroom is the lecture hall (built-in basement!) and I didn’t have to corral 40 kids in to a bathroom!

@JLordanKelly I am horrified by your workload! How can anyone, no matter how talented, effectively educate a class of 40? IMHO, 15 or at most 20 should be the largest number of students in one class. Furthermore, I would only be ok with this class size for secondary students. Primary classes should be limited to 12 or 15 students. We need to at least make it possible for educators to educate. 40 students would turn me into a child care provider…
